All our nurses joined us as trainees and have been encouraged to practice a consistent and compassionate approach to our patient’s care, creating a friendly and relaxed environment that our patients comment on in surveys. Every patient should feel like they matter and are the most important person in the room when being cared for by my team."

Dental Nurse

Charlotte Lami - Dental Nurse/Oral Health Educator/Impression Taking/Fluoride Varnish Application

I began my career as a Dental nurse in 2012 after completing my apprenticeship at the practice. This enabled me to educate and empower children and adults on their oral health and help them practice a preventive home routine. Within the past 9 years I have gained a lot of nursing experience working in a specialist practice conducting implant and specialist dental nursing.
In 2016 I worked at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital London. I was fortunate to have spent time nursing in cleft palate orthodontics, in theatre and then moved onto holding my own oral health clinics in the paediatric department. I then returned to Birchington Dental Care and have expanded my skills with a fluoride varnish application course. I am dedicated and absolutely love the time I spend with patients of all ages.
